Joe Budden and his current love interest, Kaylin Garcia, hit the red carpet hand-in-hand at the 2012 BET Awards.  It’s rumored Joey will be on the next season of Love & Hip Hop New York, but not sure if it’ll Kaylin or his ex Tahiry.  We’ll just have to wait and see.

Maybach Music Group make their way to this year’s BET Awards.  They all hit up the red carpet and bring their own swag!!  Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Wale, and Stalley all pose for the camera.  It’s reported Rick Ross and Young Jeezy had choice words for one another and got into a beef at the awards show.  This is definitely a night to remember.

50 Cent & Fat Joe To Share The Stage At BET Awards

It’s reported that 50 Cent and his longtime rival Fat Joe will share the stage at the 2012 BET Awards to give tribute to their friend Chris Lighty whom reportedly committed suicide last month, but the death is currently being investigated.

This is a big move for hip hop, especially 50 Cent who built a career off of having ongoing beef with artist.  He is definitely showing a softer side of himself by agreeing to take stage with Fat Joe.  They probably going to slap hands and everything — one might even throw in a shoulder hug!!  I wonder if he would extend the same to Rick Ross or Ja Rule to serve a greater cause.  Probably not.

Although reports are being confirmed that this is in fact “true” I cannot believe it until I see it with my own eyes.  Luckily, we don’t have much longer to wait.  BET Awards will air on October 9, 2012 at 8PM (EST).

Newlyweds Matt Barnes & Gloria Govan Cover RollingOut.com Magazine

Matt Barnes and his new wife, Gloria Govan hit the cover of RollingOut.com magazine.  The two recently eloped and said their nuptials in Las Vegas.  Before jumping the broom they did a photo shoot and cover story for the mag.  Here’s some excerpts from the story inside,

On their 8 month break from each other
Gloria : We took an eight month hiatus. Now that we're back together, we're mainly focused on becoming friends again and mainly parents too. We got into such a routine that we forgot to do all the lovey dovey stuff like date nights. I grew so much over those eight months.

Now I have to be like, 'Uh uh, I know I used to like that because you liked it but I said all that to be cute for you! I don't like eggs mother—! So now he's really getting to now me. That's fun.

Matt: We love each other. As a young couple you need to experience stuff and live your life and do things sometimes on your own. I understood that and she understood that. It was a small break that was hard but at the time was needed. It brought us closer together and we're a lot stronger now."

Matt on why he will not be returning to Basketball Wives LA
Matt: I've been a side piece to 'Basketball Wives. I've never been a main character so to speak. This season I'm completely not in the show. I think for the sake of our relationship it was best to fall back and not put our stuff out there like before for people to pick and pry through. This time around we're gonna do what works for us and not what society wants us to do.

On when the two will get married
Gloria: It's not that we're not interested; it's just not now. I don't think it'll be what people are expecting. I'll probably be like 'hey, I got married girl,' wanna come to the party? I'll probably send out a flyer for the party,"

Matt's a traditionalist so he'll want a big wedding. Which I would do [for him], but it won't be like a Kim Kardashian wedding. It'll be like, 'you want some barbecue?'. [...] Marriage is something I want to do, it's just not on my number one priority list. Maybe, don't tell him I said this…maybe another baby," says Gloria in a whisper.

Gloria on if she truly meant what she said about wanting to kick Evelyn and Jackie Christie azzes
Absolutely [I stick by that.] My feelings are what they are to Evelyn, I don't like to kick anyone while they're down but…I think they're a cute couple I honestly do [Chad and Evelyn] and I know Chad really loves her. Mainly I hope they keep people out of their relationship. That's what I've had to do. Jackie Christie has a mouth piece on her, she'll make a paraplegic feel bad for her. The way she kind of suckers you in with her words; she'll give you so many compliments to the point that you're like 'damn, okay!' [extends arms] Give me a hug girl. She's someone you have to accept, she's like a beauty mark or a birthmark. It's like 'damn that sh— terrible, but it's there. You work around it.

Rick Ross & Young Jeezy Get Into A Beef At BET Awards

The BET Awards are being taped in Atlanta at the Civic Center and it’s being reported that Rick Ross and Young Jeezy got into a pushing and shoving match at the event.  Security guards had to get in between the two artist to defuse an almost all-out brawl.

Sources say in the parking lot a guy from Ross entourage fired shots.  It’s unclear if he shot into the air to intimidate or directly at someone, but no one was hurt and no arrest have been made yet.

A little after 7:15PM police were called to the parking lot scene because a fight broke out between the two artist camps.  Atlanta police report that it was a chaotic scene and they had to use OC spray to break up the fight and control the crowd.  Rozay and Jeezy both were indoors partaking in the award festivities during this parking lot battle royale.

The BET Awards is being filmed tonight and is scheduled to air on October 9th.  Shockingly, it’s also reported that 50 Cent and Gunplay (a member affiliated with Ross’s MMG) got into a beef as well.  In other BET Awards show news, 50 Cent will share the stage with his longtime rival Fat Joe to pay homage and tribute to Chris Lighty.  This year awards show is going to be interesting.

Kendrick Lamar is set to drop his major label debut album good kid, m.A.A.d City on October 22nd.  With that said, the album snippets and leaks are starting to happen!!  Here’s a snippet of the track Money Treez and Poetic Justice which features Drake, but the snippet doesn’t include his vocals.

The production sounds tight!!  But of course, it’s a Dr. Dre produced album.  Just from these snippets I can tell the homie Kendrick is gonna kill this album.  Can’t wait for the album release.  Order your copy early from here!

XXL magazine puts Wiz Khalifa and the love of his life, Amber Rose, on the cover of the October/November issue.  A very pregnant Amber stands by her man as he poses with ink all over his body.  The two seem to be very much in love and ready for their child to come.  Here’s excerpts from the cover story,

 

Wiz On Getting Together With Amber:

"I love my baby. She's gorgeous and it makes me look even cooler when I show how much I love her to other people… When I met Amber, she loved me for who I was. I had some money, but it was like to pay my bills and literally set myself up for a future. But I was wearing the same camo shorts and high-tops and Chucks. But she liked my swag and she liked me for who I was and I wasn't afraid of that… She didn't wanna date any entertainers or anybody in the business. She didn't know who she wanted to be with, but she knew who she didn't wanna be with."

 

Wiz On Recording His New Album With Amber At Home:

"I just gotta do it. The most important thing is knowing that she is there and I have to tend to my babies. This is my first child ever in life. I gotta go hard at everything. Jay-Z Spits A New Verse At Barclay Center Concert

Jay-Z opened the first night at Barclay Center with a concert performance.  He’ll be back seven more times before October 5th, but there’s never anything like the first!  He gave Brooklyn a surprise freestyle verse!  It’s pretty dark in the arena so you can’t really see it, plus you’ll need to turn your monitor sideways, but the audio is great!

The Game Kicked Out Of Lil Wayne Birthday Bash For Brawling

The Game attended Lil Wayne birthday bash in Hollywood at a makeshift club that Weezy spent $180,000 to renovate an old building for one night of partying.  According to TMZ, Game was chilling with Chris Brown and Sean Kingston while Tunechi was nearby and rapper 211 came up on Game talking ~ish.

The ~ish talking ended when Game punched 211 in the face which ultimately got him kicked out of the party.  As they exited the club security guards got in between the two rappers while they continued in a shouting match.  These two have a history of beef and its likely not over.

XXL Magazine Going Out Of Business

It’s rumored that XXL magazine is going out of business before the start of 2013.  Today’s print magazine’s are all in danger of shutting down, because the times have changed.  Many people no longer subscribe to print magazines and instead rely on online sources to keep them updated.  Magazines are the old and slow way of getting news.

The magazine’s parent company H360 is said to have decided to close the print magazine so it can focus on bigger and better things.  It’s likely they will keep their online presence.  We’ll see.

Jay-Z has officially started his performance at the Barclay Center which is the home of the new NBA team, Brooklyn Nets which Jigga stole from New Jersey and moved to Brooklyn.  The concert is schedule for eight nights, but unfortunately all nights are sold out.  However, tickets are on sale on the resale market.  Jigga insisted that tickets were sold at no more than $29.50 for his people, so even resale tickets are mostly less than $100 per ticket.

Jay-Z is home so it’s going to be an amazing concert and I can only imagine who he’ll bring out on stage.  The show starts at 8PM, but doors open at 7PM.  This is the grand opening of the Barclay Center so it was extra crowded at the arena.  If you want to grab tickets check it out here.  Don’t wait to long to get your tickets or prices may go up drastically.

Bobbi Kristina & Nick Involved In Car Accident After Heated Argument

Whitney Houston daughter Bobbi Kristina and her boyfriend Nick Gordon (aka adopted brother) were in a bad wreck after they were reportedly fighting with one another.  TMZ reported,

"The details surrounding the accident are unclear, but we're told the couple had been arguing at the time of the crash – and Nick's Camaro was the only car involved," TMZ reported. "No one was injured."

TMZ went on to report that "Cops went to the apartment soon after the accident for a noise complaint, but no one answered the door. According to the incident report, officers saw the car parked outside the apartment with its hazard lights on — and it appeared it had been driven in a damaged state."

Reportedly, Bobbi was a passenger of the vehicle and Nick was driving at the time of the crash.  The front bumper and grill was missing, airbags were deployed, the front tire was missing, and hazard lights were blinking.  Police will determine if investigation needs to continue since it was private property the unoccupied vehicle was found.

I Am Not A Human Being II is coming sooner than you think.  Lil Wayne put the word out that the album will be here November 13, 2012.  It’s the same release date as 50 Cent album, Street King Immortal.  We still have time for push backs to happen so I wouldn’t get to comfortable with the date just yet!!  But know its coming!!

Matt Barnes & Gloria Govan Elope

Matt Barnes and his longtime girlfriend, Gloria Govan, got married in Las Vegas over the weekend.  They’ve had an on and off again relationship for the past few years, but this time they’ve decided to make it work and become a permanent item.

Apparently, the entire nuptials were caught on camera and will air on this season’s Basketball Wives.  His LA Clippers teammates were said to be in attendance, including Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and DeAndre Jordan (who was the best man).

Let’s wish these two the very best and hope they have a long loving marriage.  Congratulations!
