Kendrick Lamar is set to drop his major label debut album good kid, m.A.A.d City on October 22nd.  With that said, the album snippets and leaks are starting to happen!!  Here’s a snippet of the track Money Treez and Poetic Justice which features Drake, but the snippet doesn’t include his vocals.

The production sounds tight!!  But of course, it’s a Dr. Dre produced album.  Just from these snippets I can tell the homie Kendrick is gonna kill this album.  Can’t wait for the album release.  Order your copy early from here!

Wiz Khalifa & Amber Rose Hit The Cover Of XXL Magazine

XXL magazine puts Wiz Khalifa and the love of his life, Amber Rose, on the cover of the October/November issue.  A very pregnant Amber stands by her man as he poses with ink all over his body.  The two seem to be very much in love and ready for their child to come.  Here’s excerpts from the cover story,

 

Wiz On Getting Together With Amber:

"I love my baby. She's gorgeous and it makes me look even cooler when I show how much I love her to other people… When I met Amber, she loved me for who I was. I had some money, but it was like to pay my bills and literally set myself up for a future. But I was wearing the same camo shorts and high-tops and Chucks. But she liked my swag and she liked me for who I was and I wasn't afraid of that… She didn't wanna date any entertainers or anybody in the business. She didn't know who she wanted to be with, but she knew who she didn't wanna be with."

 

Wiz On Recording His New Album With Amber At Home:

"I just gotta do it. The most important thing is knowing that she is there and I have to tend to my babies. This is my first child ever in life. I gotta go hard at everything. As hard as I go in the studio, I gotta go just as hard taking care of my baby and making sure she's alright, and I'm spending time with her and she doesn't feel neglected."

 

Amber On Giving Birth:

"I'm so ready. I'm going all-natural. I've decided that I'm going to have an all-natural water birth. No medicine. I want those bragging rights! The next time Wiz has a stomachache or anything, I'll say, 'I popped out a baby all-natural.'"

 

Amber On Wiz:

"[H]e's just a genuine sweet guy. And that's what made me fall in love with him. And I just said, "You know what, I don't care if he's a rapper." I don't care if people say, "Oh, you're a gold-digger." I don't care if people say, "Oh, you went from one rapper to another," or whatever. I love him. I don't look at him as a rapper. I look at him as Cameron Thomaz, not even Wiz Khalifa. I just fell so deeply in love with him, I didn't care what anyone says."

Jay-Z Spits A New Verse At Barclay Center Concert

Jay-Z opened the first night at Barclay Center with a concert performance.  He’ll be back seven more times before October 5th, but there’s never anything like the first!  He gave Brooklyn a surprise freestyle verse!  It’s pretty dark in the arena so you can’t really see it, plus you’ll need to turn your monitor sideways, but the audio is great!

The Game Kicked Out Of Lil Wayne Birthday Bash For Brawling

The Game attended Lil Wayne birthday bash in Hollywood at a makeshift club that Weezy spent $180,000 to renovate an old building for one night of partying.  According to TMZ, Game was chilling with Chris Brown and Sean Kingston while Tunechi was nearby and rapper 211 came up on Game talking ~ish.

The ~ish talking ended when Game punched 211 in the face which ultimately got him kicked out of the party.  As they exited the club security guards got in between the two rappers while they continued in a shouting match.  These two have a history of beef and its likely not over.

Newest member to the Maybach Music Group visits Bootleg Kev out in Arizona and kicks a  real freestyle from off the top of the dome.  He goes in over the track like a pro.  He’s definitely done it before and have a perfected freestyle craft.

XXL Magazine Going Out Of Business

It’s rumored that XXL magazine is going out of business before the start of 2013.  Today’s print magazine’s are all in danger of shutting down, because the times have changed.  Many people no longer subscribe to print magazines and instead rely on online sources to keep them updated.  Magazines are the old and slow way of getting news.

The magazine’s parent company H360 is said to have decided to close the print magazine so it can focus on bigger and better things.  It’s likely they will keep their online presence.  We’ll see.

Nicki Minaj sat down with Perez Hilton to talk about her newest business venture, Pink Friday, which is a new woman’s perfume, available in Macy’s.  She also speaks about being an American Idol judge and also her re-release album with about 5 or 6 new songs, which drops in November.  The Young Money princess reveals she has a secret to tell the world soon!!  Is she pregnant?  Nah, maybe it’s about her own reality TV show?  We’ll just have to wait and see!!
