| Waka Flocka Banned From The Entire State Of Virginia Posted: 02 Oct 2012 10:21 AM PDT
Waka Flocka had no choice but to cancel his upcoming tour dates in Virginia after he learned he was banned from the entire state for his gang affiliation. Virginia is a commonwealth state so sometimes they make up laws as they go, but this one is absurd. Waka is a citizen of the United States of America and pays taxes like the rest of us — he should be allowed to go to any state in America as well as live there if he chooses. This is a case that I hope gets in front of the Supreme courts and they reverse the action, because if U.S. allows this type of behavior from states, then I see no end to the injustice and other states will soon follow suit, causing an uproar. If they can do this to Waka then I’m sure eventually they’ll try to do it with regular folks who have criminal records or ties. If you want to personally attack criminals and stop crime then this is not the way to do it!!! We are UNITED States, not UNITED until we feel we want to do our own thing and deny entry to certain people (blacks). Trust me this can get out of hand quick. Let’s hope Waka legal team can nip this in the bud fast!! #FREEWORLD |
| Lil Scrappy Arrested In Atlanta For Violation Of Probation Posted: 02 Oct 2012 09:54 AM PDT
Lil Scrappy whose real name is Darryl Kevin Richardson II was arrested yesterday for violating his probation. He was arrested and booked in DeKalb County jail. They listed the probation violation as occurring September 4th.
It’s unclear if Scrappy is home yet or still behind bars. It’s also unclear exactly what he did to violate his probation. His original charges which got him on probation in the first place stems from a 2008 conviction where he was charged with possession of marijuana, carrying a concealed weapon, obstruction of officers and fighting. He was sentenced to 1 year probation for each of those offenses, which the judge ran concurrently. He was taken into custody on the side of the highway (see below). | T-Boz Of TLC Gets Her Own Reality TV Show “Totally T-Boz” Posted: 02 Oct 2012 09:27 AM PDT
The cable network channel TLC recruits former TLC R&B group member, T-Boz, for her own reality television show. The new program is being called Totally T-Boz and will not air until sometime in 2013. No official premiere date has been determined yet. The show will be about T-Boz and her daily struggles of trying to rebuild her singing career, raising her 11 year old son, Chance and battling sickle cell anemia as well as other ailing sickness such recovering from a 2006 brain tumor. The world will get to see what an ordinary day for T-Boz is like. I’m sure her girlfriend, Chilli will make an appearance or two on the show. Last year T-Boz filed for bankruptcy and this will likely aid on her financial recovery. It’s good to see the “No Scrub” singer not being a “scrub” herself and making a comeback. She definitely should be inspiration for others out here who battle diseases and sickness. She’s a fighter!! |
| Bow Wow New Host Of 106TH & Park Posted: 01 Oct 2012 09:11 PM PDT Bow Wow who is already dubbed as “Mr 106” announces that he will join Ms. Mykie, Paigion and Shorty Da Prince as the new hosts of 106th & Park. Last week Rocsi and Terrence J officially exited the building and there’s been rumors about the show’s survival. The new crew has came to put the rumors to rest. The show is alive and well!!! It plans to be around a lot longer!!! BET always goes through this panic phase when there’s changing of the guards. Congratulations to the new cast!!! |
