Kid Ink Inks A Recording Deal With RCA Records Posted: 05 Jan 2013 04:35 PM PST 26-year old Los Angeles rapper Kid Ink has finally got signed.  He is rocking with RCA Recrods.  He must feel on top of the world right now!  What a way to start off the new year! Last year, 2012, was an exceptional year for Kid Ink.  Independently he was on the cover of XXL magazine (Freshmen class), put out a mixtape, had a hit single (Time Of Your Life) and released an album (Up & Away) which debuted #20 on the Billboard 200. Recognizing his own success Kid Ink had this to say about the deal, “We achieved so much last year independently, but we just felt it was time to team up with a major in 2013 to take it to the next level and RCA is as excited as we are about the vision and possibilities. J. Grand, the SVP of A&R and Marketing for RCA said this about signing Kid Ink, “I’m ecstatic to have someone as multi-talented as Kid Ink, along with the backing of Tha Alumni team with us at RCA Records.  We see him not just as an emerging domestic star but as someone whose music and entrepreneurship is already developing a global presence.” It’s exciting times for the artist.  I wish nothing but the best for him.  Congratulations and keep pushing my dude!!!
