Karrueche Tran Responds To The Anti-Rihanna T-Shirt At Her Clothing Line Party Posted: 20 Jan 2013 03:59 PM PST Over the weekend Karrueche Tran had a celebration party for her clothing line, The Kill, at club Vanquish in ATL.  One fan wore a t-shirt bearing a photo of Rihanna with the saying “Hi Rihanna” and the name crossed out, as if to suggest she is anti-Rihanna.  A photo of Karrueche and the fan was snapped and not long thereafter a picture surfaced on the web, going viral. It was rumored that the t-shirt was staged by Karrueche and even is a product from her The Kill clothing line collection.  However, Karrueche tells a different story and sets the record straight via Twitter, I have absolutely no involvement w any shirt w my picture on it nor are they apart of The Kill. — Karrueche Tran (@karrueche) January 18, 2013 I think that’s kind of corny, no disrespect. But I’d never produce a shirt like that. — Karrueche Tran (@karrueche) January 18, 2013 I have no control of what other people do. — Karrueche Tran (@karrueche) January 18, 2013 Melina Mercado a company representative for Thirteen (XIII), the company responsible for the creation of the T-shirt, gave the following statement, “Stemming on a play on words from the Royce da 5'9's, HipHop verse where he talks about Rihanna was where the idea of the t-shirt came from. It was meant to be witty, humorous and a compliment to Karrueche Tran. We didn't expect the t-shirt to cause so much controversy with the Rihanna fans and in no way put down Rihanna. The t-shirt represents empowerment and shows that any girl can be and feel just as sexy as Rihanna even if others feel that you are second best. Karrueche Tran is not in any way affiliated with the creation of the t-shirt. She just appreciated the love and support which is why the picture was taken." Feelin It? Not Feelin It?

Chief Keef Interviews With Power 92.1 & Says 50 Cent Is Not His Mentor Posted: 20 Jan 2013 02:29 PM PST Chief Keef does an interview with TT Torez of Power 92.1 broadcasting out of Richmond, VA.  This is the Chicago rapper’s first radio interview since about a year ago.  He states that he doesn’t like doing interviews because of the questions he’s asked.  He’s apprehensive to answering when asked a series of personal questions. Chief makes it known that 50 Cent is not his mentor the way he thinks he is, when asked about Fifty being his mentor and checkin’ him on his Twitter usage he says, “Nah… We be riding Ferrari’s together, he’s cool. He tells me a lot of stuff, a lot of dos and don’ts, but I don’t know who told you that stuff right there.” The interview was finally over and TT was ready to throw the 300 squad out the building!  Keef couldn’t buy a personality on this one.
