NEW MUSIC: Diggy “What You Say To Me?” [J. Cole Diss]

WTF?  I thought Diggy was a rapper signed to Disney lol, but on this one he gives us the R-rated Diggy.  I guess when he gets upset he takes it there, because he surely handed it to J. Cole in this rap diss.  Diggy took the lyrics in Grew Up Fast to heart,

J> Cole said,

No sir, no license, all I got here is this fucking degree,
Move along cock-sucker, ain't got nothing to see,
'less you talking blockbuster, you niggas in not Russell
You more Diggy, Me, I'm more Biggie
No diss to the young boy, I'm just rapping, get bored quickly
Just to make up for that line, invite him on tour with me
Show him the game, let him finagle these whores with me
Run through their doors with me, hit the Ritz Carlton for the night
Leave 'em there two dykes, probably change a niggas life, right?

And then to add salt to the wound J. Cole goes on to say what up to Diggy sister, Vanessa Simmons.

Wattup Vanessa? I loved you that one semester

Furthermore, before making the diss track Grew Up Fast J. Cole made another song called Purple Rain where a verse hinted on a fling he shared with Vanessa during a time they attended school together.  He made Vanessa out to look like a freak.  Of course, Vanessa denies the episode, but who knows??

Good girl huh, father was a preacher
Sent her off to college thought I got her on a leash though
From the outside though, them girls be the squeakiest
You get ‘em inside them girls be the freakiest

Mischievous, downright devious
Say she want cake I got all the right ingredients
Running round fronting like a pure white virgin
Gave a nigga dome while her father gave a Sermon
Amen, let the choir sing
She be walking round campus like the quiet thing
So niggas scared to approach when they admiring
Man if they know like I know she got that fire thing
Pour a little OJ with some P-trone
I’m feeling ok, but homie she’s gone
When remmy Rev called she just ignore him
I had her calling on God till the weed
And than I hit the door nigga

These songs are all old, even the Diggy “What You Say To Me” diss track.  The first verse was recited on Hot 97 almost a year ago, so it looks like this is just a strategic marketing move since Diggy’s album Unexpected Arrival recently dropped.  However, hearing the second verse is a clear diss to J. Cole and Diggy gets in that azz.
