| Canibus Plays Himself By Reading From A Notepad In A Battle Rap Posted: 10 Jun 2012 10:05 AM PDT Although most battle rappers write their material before hand and recite it as a freestyle, the illusion that it’s an actual freestyle is what gives more weight to the rhyme. Canibus has been doing battle raps for years, so he has to know it doesn’t look good when he holds a notepad in front of a crowd wanting to hear him rip apart his contender. Holding the big a** notepad isn’t just bad for business, but it looks goofy in this day and age where rappers use modern technology such as a cell phone or iPad device. Canibus was battling Dizaster, but it looks like this rap battle was disastrous for Canibus.  |
