Jay-Z joins President Barack Obama, Bruce Springstein, Kid Rock, and other supporting celebrities in Columbus, Ohio.  In an effort to show support for the president and get him re-elected Jigga remixed his song “99 Problems”.  He throws shots at Mitt Romney and says, “I got 99 problems, but Mitt ain’t one.”

Lil Wayne Loses Trial Against Quincy Jones III And Must Pay $2 Million

Lil Wayne started the lawsuit against Quincy Jones III, because he felt he was wrongly portrayed in a documentary that was ready to release.  The judge ruled against Lil Wayne and dismissed the case.

Quincy also won his countersuit where he made the claim that Lil Wayne stopped the release of the film which caused him to lose profits.  The jury ruled in his favor and ordered Weezy to pay $2,195,000 in damages.

In recent weeks Lil Wayne suffered seizure-like symptoms and made trips to the doctor who condemned him to bed rest and prohibited the New Orleans rapper from flying.  This being the case he was unable to make it to his trial for the case.  His lawyers were forced to show his deposition hearing video to the jury, which likely did not help his case, because Tunechi made a complete mockery of the legal system and refused to answer questions.

That stunt likely hurt Wayne’s trial, but he knows better than anyone, you can’t win them all.  Two million isn’t going to make or break Weezy, however I’m sure he’d rather not have to make this payout.  I’m sure he’s sitting back reflecting right now and wondering how he could have handled things differently.  #LessonLearned
