Kat Stacks Has Been Released From Prison! She’s Baaaccckkkk! Posted: 04 Jan 2013 06:03 AM PST Andrea Herrera a.k.a. Kat Stacks has finally been released from jail. The 23 year old Venezuelan was arrested in Nashville, TN back in 2010 and detained awaiting deportation. The deportation case was ultimately dropped two years later and now she’s a free woman. Kat, her family and lawyers filed numerous appeals until finally Judge Beatmann signed the order to release Kat Stacks from her Louisiana immigration facility. Originally Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained Kat Stacks and a judge declared "she wasn't going to add anything to American society." They were ready to deport her, but her lawyers claimed she was a victim of sex trafficking and only made up the Kat Stacks persona to survive. The appeals courts voted 2-1 and gave her a second chance. The appeal board said, "Kat Stacks persona is disturbing and in no way a positive contribution to society," but that, "other compelling factors, particularly her long history of abuse, outweigh the negative factors." The Broward County resident also has a child born in the United States which possibly played a role in the courts ruling in her favor. Welcome home Kat Stacks! I wonder who her first victim will be!!! #RatchetSeasonBegins |
