Ghetto Fight: Guy Gets Kicked In Head While Apprehended By Police

Posted: 21 Jan 2013 05:16 PM PST

This Utica, New York neighborhood has a big street brawl which police are unable to contain.  It’s just major chaos and a out of control scene.  One police officer has a guy pinned to the ground and putting him in handcuffs when a dude comes along and kicks the restrained guy hard in the head.

A police officer chases after the assailant and tries to pepper spray him, but the pepper spray changes directions and blows back into the officer’s face which makes him end his pursuit.  It’s pretty comical, but too serious of a situation to laugh.  Black people, we gotta do better!

Lupe Fiasco Kicked Off Stage For Anti-Obama Rant At Inauguration Concert

Posted: 21 Jan 2013 03:06 PM PST

Last night at Hamilton Live in Washington, DC Lupe Fiasco performed his anti-Obama song, Words I Never Said at the Presidential Inauguration concert.  He rapped the song several times before promoters finally got tired and kicked him off stage.  His lyrics included,

Linbaugh, is a racist.  Glenn Beck is a racist.  Gaza strip was getting bombed Obama didn’t say shit!  That’s why I ain’t vote for him, next one either.  I’m part of the problem, my problem is I’m peaceful.

It probably needed to be said, but it just wasn’t the right time or place!  He brought a damper to what was suppose to be a celebration for the President.  Shout out to Lupe for stirring up controversy and staying true to himself.  I won’t be surprise if he gets a visit from Secret Service.

The concert organizer released a statement in regards to booting Lupe from the stage and claims it wasn’t because of his anti-Obama rant, but instead because of his repetitive performance,

StartUp RockOn is all about startups helping startups. At Sunday night's Inauguration Celebration at the Hamilton Live, organizers set out to honor innovative visionaries with grants, accolades and a party worthy of the success we achieved at the RNC and DNC this summer.

Lupe Fiasco performed at this private event, and as you may have read, he left the stage earlier than we had planned. But Lupe Fiasco was not "kicked off stage" for an "anti-Obama rant." We are staunch supporters of free speech, and free political speech. This was not about his opinions. Instead, after a bizarrely repetitive, jarring performance that left the crowd vocally dissatisfied, organizers decided to move on to the next act.

The party continued as planned, and we celebrated the announcement of CodeNow's winning the Grant Challenge. CodeNow is a non-profit startup based in Washington DC that teaches "underrepresented high school students basic skills in computer programming.
