Mother Forced To Sit In Class With 4th Grade Son At Barack Obama Elementary School Posted: 30 Jan 2013 11:31 AM PST Veronica Williams, a St. Louis mother, has been forced to sit in class with her fourth grade son at Barack Obama elementary.  School officials claim that the boy is disruptive in class and the only way to avoid expulsion is he needs to have adult supervision. Veronica says she has done as requested by the school for two weeks, but in fear of losing her job she had to stop attending school with her child.  When she stopped coming and sitting in class with her son the school reacted by kicking the child out of school. Veronica’s partner Tiara Newton even claims that she tried to help by sitting in class with the disruptive student, but bills have to be paid and could no longer attend. The school told Veronica that she would have to continue sitting in class with the youngster for the remainder of the school year or else he will be suspended from school and that’s exactly what they did when he no longer had adult supervision. It’s shameful of the school to require such demands on a parent, when they are already barring so much trying to keep a roof over their head and clothes on their back.  To force any parent to sit with their child for the entire school year is almost an impossible request unless the school is willing to pay all their expenses — which I seriously doubt! In my opinion, the two weeks the mother gave should suffice and usually would straighten out any behavioral problems the kid had.  If that didn’t work then seeing a school’s psychiatrist or putting the child in “special” classes could be an option.  Are you telling me a fourth grader is too much for a school to handle?  If so, then the staff needs better training. The school’s Chief Administrative Officer Phillip Boyd said in a statement “we are committed to providing students with the most productive and safe learning environment possible and the school has a responsibility to ensure that the entire learning community is safe for all parties." Until we know every side of the story it’s hard to judge, but right now the school is looking bad.  It just doesn’t make sense and the school should be better equipped to deal with wayward children.  I can’t imagine a fourth grader being that out of control.  As a parent I’d elect to institute corporal punishment if my child is being that bad in school.  Kids will be kids.  Deal wit’ it!!!! Bangz and his crew wasn’t trying to hear all that noise and tried to ignore it as much as they could, but one dude pushed Kirko homeboy buttons and sent him over the top.  He started swinging on dude and anyone around him. The altercation was quickly ceased by security who was nearby, but Kirko’s crew definitely got a hit and kick in.  Wichita trying to get their name on the map.  Ain’t nobody got time for that! If your city wasn’t murder capital back in the 80′s or 90′s then leave it alone.  It’s 2013, black people is moving on to bigger and better things.  We shouldn’t still be trying to make a “violent” name for our cities.  We should be cleaning up our cities and supporting black owned businesses.
